About us.

Welcome! At Chesley Baptist Church we are a community of imperfect people dedicated to learning to live and love like Jesus Christ. Since 1914 people have gathered at our location in rural Chesley, Ontario. Dean and Maxine Bender came in 2008 to continue to lead the tradition of service and devotion to Jesus Christ. They retired in 2024.

Currently, we have an interim director, Pete Nichols, and together with our board, we are working toward seeing a new pastor for our church who can continue to lead us forward.

Join us on Sundays. All are welcome.

Ministries at Chesley

  • Sunday Worship Service is at 11:00am every Sunday. You can also watch it on YouTube. There is Sunday School during the service for young children.

  • Our Kidz Klub meet on Saturday mornings at the church from 10:00-11:30am (bi-weekly).

    New children are always welcome, we would love for them to join us - contact us with any questions.

  • JOURNEY YOUTH DROP-IN - Wednesdays at Chesley Baptist Church from 7:00-8:30pm - Open to grade 6-12 - Casual, welcoming and supervised. This is a time for youth to hang out with friends, play games, be creative, and just have fun!

  • Sunday, April 27, 2025 - Special Event at 2:00pm - Our church is hosting the Baptist Mid-Western Association Annual Meeting - Anyone is welcome - There will be special music, a meeting, and dinner. Dinner is $35/person.
